Canada's Parliament to Resume Work on Thursday: Minister

The Parliament of Canada will resume work on Thursday,Canadian Minister of Employment, Social Development and Multiculturalism Jason Kenny wrote on his Twitter account.

MOSCOW, October 23 (RIA Novosti) - The Parliament of Canada will resume work on Thursday.

"Parliament will resume its normal business tomorrow, as it should. Let's all keep calm and carry on, building this magnificent country," Canadian Minister of Employment, Social Development and Multiculturalism Jason Kenny wrote on his Twitter account.

The Canadian parliament was shut down, following the shooting of a soldier at Ottawa's National War Memorial by an unknown gunman, who was later revealed as the 32-year old Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, who is reportedly of Algerian descent and was born in Canada.

The security perimeter that was imposed in downtown Ottawa, following the incident.
