The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) has so far found no evidence of Russian military involvement in the Ukrainian crisis, Russia's OSCE envoy said Friday.

MOSCOW, September 26 (RIA Novosti) – The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) has so far found no evidence of Russian military involvement in the Ukrainian crisis, Russia's OSCE envoy said Friday.

"There is nothing. No evidence and no serious documents have been found. Top OSCE officials said in an interview with the Western press... that they have no evidence of regular Russian troops fighting in Ukraine," Andrei Kelin said.

Ukraine's east has been suffering from a violent internal conflict since mid-April, when Kiev began its military operation against independence supporters in the region.

Since the beginning of the military conflict, Kiev and the West have been accusing Russia of providing military aid to pro-independence forces in southwestern Ukraine and even of direct military intervention. Russian officials, including President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov have repeatedly denied the country's involvement in Ukraine's crisis.
