MOSCOW, August 9 (RIA Novosti) – At least 44 people have died and 11 have been injured as a result of a tourist bus crash in China’s Tibet, Xinhua news agency has reported on Saturday.
According to the agency, the accident took place at 4:25 pm local time (8:25 GMT) in Nyemo County, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region.
The bus with tourists crashed into another vehicle on the No. 318 National Highway and then fell into the valley.
The causes and other circumstances of the accident are currently being verified.
