KIEV, July 29 (RIA Novosti) – Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Valeriya Lutkovska on Tuesday denied the allegations that a child was killed when a bus with refugees came under fire in eastern Ukraine.
“All children which left the city of Donetsk have reached the city of Mariupol without sustaining any injures. The same can be said about the teachers which were accompanying the children,” Lutkovska told reporters.
The commissioner confirmed that the bus did come under fire, but the shells did not hit the vehicle.
Earlier on Tuesday, the South-Eastern Front information center reported that a three-year old child and 12 other passengers were injured in the incident.
