MOSCOW, May 22 (RIA Novosti) – The speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, has sent an official invitation to Russian President Vladimir Putin and Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin to visit the country.
“Our goal is establishing contacts with two parliaments, two governments, business circles and contacts between our peoples,” Sadiq said. “I want these visits to have a regular basis,” he said.
Russia and Pakistan “are united by respect for international law.”
All 342 members of Pakistan’s parliament unanimously favor friendly relations with Russia, he added.
