A magnitude 7.7 earthquake has hit Canada’s British Columbia province, the US Geological Survey reported.
There have been no immediate reports of injuries or damage caused by the quake, which occurred 202 km (126 miles) south-southwest of the port of Prince Rupert at a depth of 17.5 kilometers (11 miles).
