MEXICO, September 29 (RIA Novosti)
One of Guatemala’s richest persons, millionaire Joe Habie, died after crashing in his own helicopter in the country’s capital on Friday, local media reported.
Air traffic controllers said they received a call of distress from Habie, who told them the tail rotor of the helicopter he was piloting broke down. The millionaire attempted an emergency landing, but the aircraft crashed into a park in Guatemala City.
A woman, who was in the park at the moment of the crash, was also injured in the accident.
Habie, 55, was the owner of one of Guatemala’s largest textile companies as well as of the five-star hotel Tikkal Futura. Rescuers said Habie was an active firefighting volunteer and often gave his helicopter to firefighters for combating wildfires.

The self-defense forces in Donbass likely do not have the capability to win. Kiev will simply outlast the republic’s fighters. Ukraine still has many mobilization resources. The most important thing for self-defense fighters is not to win the war but rather not to lose it.
