Exiled Russian oligarch Boris Berezovsky lost on Friday a $5.5 billion legal claim against Chelsea Football Club owner Roman Abramovich.
"I dismiss Mr Berezovsky's claim," Judge Elizabeth Gloster told the High Court in London.
Berezovsky, 66, had alleged breach of contract, but Abramovich, 45, denied the allegations.
The case started in October.
Berezovsky said Abramovich betrayed him and intimidated him into selling shares in the Russian oil company Sibneft for a "mere $1.3 billion."
