At least nine people were killed and over 200 are listed missing after a passenger ferry capsized in Bangladesh, the local Daily Star newspaper said on Tuesday.
The ferry, carrying some 300 people, overturned in the Meghna river just southeast of the capital Dhaka after hitting a cargo vessel.
From 30 to 50 people managed to swim to safety, according to various sources.
