St. Petersburg's world famous Mariinsky Ballet will perform the classic ballet Giselle in the U.S. capital on February 8-13.
The theater will deliver seven performances of Giselle at the stage of the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts.
"Boasting an artistic legacy that spans more than 200 years, St. Petersburg's Mariinsky Ballet returns with the classic evening-length ballet Giselle, choreographed by Jean Coralli, Jules Perrot, and Marius Petipa," the Kennedy Center said in an announcement.
It is the ninth visit of the Mariinsky Ballet in a ten-year partnership with the Kennedy Center.
Last year, the great Russian ballet company performed the Sleeping Beauty ballet at the center.
