Nude photos of infamous Russian spy Anna Chapman will appear in the January issue of Playboy magazine, New York Daily News reports.
The newspaper said the Russian red-haired spy, who was uncovered in the United States among 10 people in June on suspicion of being part of an espionage ring spying for Russia, is "back in the U.S.A." in the pages of Playboy.
The photos, taken by Chapman's ex-boyfriend, are from the set that appeared in the Internet in July. Chapman was "shocked" after the photos were made public and "disappointed by the betrayal," her lawyer said.
The 28-year-old Russian former "sleeper agent" received a proposal to appear in Playboy several months ago, but she refused to pose for the popular men's magazine.
However, the redhead appeared on the cover of the Russian edition of Maxim magazine in November issue, sporting nylon and lace and wielding a revolver, after receiving one of Russia's highest medals for espionage.
Earlier this week, former spy Chapman formally joined the ranks of the youth arm of Russia's ruling United Russia party in an apparent attempt to launch a political career.
She was named a member of the group's public council. Chapman has also recently accepted a job as an adviser to the president of FondServiceBank and showed up at a launch of a Russian spacecraft.

If attempts to drag Russia into a direct military conflict in Ukraine are successful, it would be a catastrophe for Russia comparable to the 1979-1989 Afghan war. There is no direct evidence that the US is trying to bring about a second Afghan war, but indirect evidence abounds.
