Mourners in Russia and Belarus have been laying flowers and lighting candles in memory of 43 people, including 36 players and coaches from the ice hockey team Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, who died in a plane crash on Wednesday.
In Yaroslavl, thousands of fans gathered outside the team’s stadium.
The jet carrying the team crashed while taking off from Yaroslavl on Wednesday. The team was going to Minsk for the season's first match.
