Police in Siberia have caught two inmates who broke out of jail on horseback and then stole a car, however, later wrecked it during their getaway.
Dmitry Fomchenko and Ildar Niyazulin used a horse to escape from the jail near the town of Omsk but were recaptured after the car they stole veered off into a roadside ditch, police said.
The fugitives now face new charges of breaking out of prison and grand theft.
