ST. PETERSBURG, November 1 (R-Sport) - Zenit St. Petersburg defender Aleksandar Lukovic suffered a dislocated elbow in training Thursday, Zenit coach Luciano Spalletti has said.
The Serbian international, 29, was hurt in a practice match and left the pitch with the help of team masseur Sergei Kolesnikov.
"Lukovic has a dislocated elbow. He'll go to the hospital now," Spalletti said.
Kolesnikov told R-Sport that a doctor had put Lukovic’s right arm in a sling and that the injury was at best a major dislocation, ahead of a fuller examination.
The Serbian international, who joined the Russian champions from Italian side Udinese in 2010, has made eight appearances for Zenit this season.
