Anzhi Makhachkala wingback Yuri Zhirkov is expected to arrive in Russia next week after undergoing treatment in Belgium for an Achilles injury, the club's site said Sunday.
The Russian international has missed several games this season due to the on-off problem.
It kept the 29-year-old former Chelsea man out of Russia's 2-0 defeat of Northern Ireland on Friday and Tuesday's forthcoming trip to Israel in the country's 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign.
Zhirkov has 55 international caps and has made 26 appearances for Anzhi since joining from Stamford Bridge a year ago.
