Lokomotiv Moscow have sent Bosnian midfielder Senijad Ibricic on a season-loan to Gaziantepspor and given the Turkish Super Lig side an option to buy him, the Railwaymen said Monday.
Ibricic, 26, joined Lokomotiv for a reported fee of 7 million euros in January 2011 from Croatia's Hajduk Split but has made only ten league starts since then and played 90 minutes just once.
He has not made the Lokomotiv squad for a competitive match since ex-Croatia coach Slaven Bilic took charge in June.
“Lokomotiv and Gaziantepspor have concluded negotiations on the loan of Bosnian midfielder Senijad Ibricic with the right to buy the player later,” Lokomotiv said in a website statement.
“The 26-year-old player will spend the current season at the Turkish club.”
Ibricic has 30 caps for Bosnia and Herzegovina, and has scored four goals for his country.
