Dynamo Moscow has signed a two-year contract with its star forward Mikhail Anisin after a three-week wrangle that saw Anisin skip training, Dynamo president Mikhail Tyurkin told R-Sport on Wednesday.

While on loan from the Vityaz Chekhov team, the diminutive forward notched up 14 points and five assists in last season's playoffs as Dynamo won its first Gagarin Cup, and Dynamo said it had bought his rights from Vityaz soon afterwards.

Anisin failed to join up with the team in pre-season training last month amid a contract dispute.

“We have signed a two-year contract and tomorrow Mikhail will arrive in Pinsk, Belarus, for a pre-season training camp and start training with the team,” Tyurkin said, blaming “some nuances” rather than fundamental disagreements for the dispute.

Dynamo representatives had claimed that Anisin, 24, was demanding the club give him an eightfold wage increase to a reported $2 million a year, but his agent had denied this, saying that Dynamo general manager Andrei Safronov was holding up the talks.

Tyurkin did not specify how much the new deal was worth, but said Anisin was not being overpaid.

“There are no sky-high figures. The contract complies completely with the level of play and results demonstrated by Mikhail Anisin.”

Anisin, 24, has had a nomadic professional career, starting out at now-defunct Khimik Voskresensk in 2005 and passing through five other clubs before arriving at Vityaz.

In 194 KHL games, Anisin has notched up 112 points, recording a personal record scoring percentage in 2011-12, with 33 goals and 21 assists in 70 games.
