Marussia driver Charles Pic wants to stay in Formula One with the Russian-owned team next year, the Frenchman has told R-Sport.
Pic made his debut with Marussia this year and has scored his best results with 15th place at the Australian and European Grands Prix.
"Yes, yes I want it," Pic said when asked if he planned to stay with the team.
"I think I have to stay focused on this year and make a good job, and if I do a good job it will come naturally for next year," the 22-year-old rookie said.
Marussia's new aerodynamics upgrade failed to work in the wet at the last race in Britain, but could bring the team a dramatic improvement at the next round in Germany next week, he said.
"We have the update. It came at Silverstone but we were not able to see the effect because it was in the rain, Silverstone, so I think we will be able to have a good return on this if it is dry in Hockenheim."
Pic's best result before joining F1 was fourth in the second-tier GP2 series last year.
