Igor Semshov and Andriy Voronin have returned to the Dynamo Moscow starting lineup for Wednesday's Russian cup final against Rubin Kazan.

Semshov, the club's second-highest scorer, had been left out of Sunday's 2-2 derby clash with Lokomotiv Moscow after criticizing coach Sergei Silkin for defensive tactics.

But Silkin said there was a way back for the Russia international after he issued an extensive apology, and promised to consider him for the Cup final.

They were both named in the starting lineups for the match, which kicks off in Yekaterinburg at 1500 Moscow time (1100GMT).

Semshov and captain Andriy Voronin both played for Dynamo’s reserve team on Saturday, and Silkin had earlier claimed they had simply been left out because of poor form.

Voronin had asked for match practice, Silkin said Sunday, amid reports of a feud.

Ex-Liverpool striker Voronin’s reserve appearance was his second in a row. He has started just one of Dynamo’s last seven games and last scored in October.

Midfielder Semshov, 34, has 56 caps for Russia and featured in the team’s charge to the semifinals of Euro 2008.

He has spent his entire career in the Russian Premier League, and is one of the most prolific players in the competition’s history with almost 400 appearances.

Semshov is in his second spell with Dynamo Moscow and has scored 12 goals in 36 league appearances this season.
