Mixed martial arts star Fedor Emelianenko will face Brazilian veteran Pedro Rizzo in St. Petersburg in June, the Russian's representatives said Friday.
Rizzo, 37, has a record of 19 wins and nine losses, including victories over Jeff Monson, Josh Barnett and Andrei Arlovski. The Brazilian Muay Thai specialist has won his last three fights.
Emelianenko, 35, is a multiple world champion and went undefeated for almost a decade until June 2010, then suffering three losses in a row.
The Russian manged to halt the losing streak by scoring a decision win over Jeff Monson this November in Moscow and then KO-ing Japan's Satoshi Ishii in Tokyo on New Year's Eve.
Emelianenko has a record of 34 wins and 4 losses.
