Dynamo Moscow dominated in the second half to take a 7-5 win over Dynamo Kazan and win the Russian Bandy Superliga for the sixth time Sunday.

Dynamo Moscow came from behind twice after Superliga holders Dynamo Kazan controlled the game early on despite missing injured top scorer Sami Laakkonen.

Alexey Bushuev scored for Dynamo Kazan within seconds of the start, and then struck again to restore the Kazan team’s lead after Evgeny Ivanushkin equalised for Dynamo Moscow on eight minutes.

Goals from Ivan Maximov and Rinat Shamsutov put the Moscow team in the lead for the first time just after the half-hour mark, but Maxim Chermnyx leveled the scores again just before half-time.

Ivanushkin struck again five minutes after the restart, with Daniel Mossberg scoring to give Dynamo Moscow a 5-3 lead, before Chermnyx pulled one back.

Mikhail Sveshnikov then scored for Dynamo Moscow, but the Kazan team had hope of a comeback when Maxim Pakhomov scored on 80 minutes to reduce the deficit to 6-5.

Mossberg’s second goal then sealed the win for Dynamo Moscow, the league’s alltime winningest team.

Dynamo Moscow last won the title in 2010 and were long the dominant team in the Soviet league, with 14 titles in the Communist period.
