MOSCOW, June 1 (RIA Novosti) - President Vladimir Putin is absolutely dedicated to his job, but never brings work problems home with him and keeps his job and his family completely separate, according to his wife.
"He does not discuss his job with me," Lyudmila Putina told a business lunch hosted by government daily Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
She said Putin had written his May 10 state of the nation address himself, but in his Kremlin office and not at home.
"He worked on it for a long time, not at home but in the Kremlin," she said. "When he was looking it through on the eve [of the speech], I guess he would not let me look into it. I listened to the address just like everyone else did."
Putina said she was optimistic about Russia's future, and that her family saw its own future as linked with the development of the country as a whole.
"If things go well in the country, we also do well," she said.
