KODINSK (KRASNOYARSK), December 16 (RIA Novosti) - The first leg of the Boguchansk hydroelectric plant in Siberia is expected to be commissioned in 2010, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov said Friday.
The facility is being built as part of a partnership agreement between electricity giant Unified Energy System and aluminum company RusAl to set up an energy and metals conglomerate, which will also include an aluminum smelter.
Investments in the project are expected to top $4 billion.
