MOSCOW, January 31 (RIA Novosti) – Six world powers and Iran will meet in Vienna on February 18 for another round of talks on the Islamic Republic’s controversial nuclear program, a spokesman for the European Union's foreign policy chief tweeted on Friday.
The date was announced after Catherine Ashton, the EU's foreign policy chief, met with Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on the sidelines of the Munich security conference.
Iran and the six-nation group – the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council plus Germany – have been negotiating a deal for Tehran to suspend parts of its nuclear program in exchange for a gradual end to crippling international sanctions.
