Russia’s Richest Businessmen According to Forbes

Two hundred of Russia’s richest businessmen have made it onto the provisional Forbes Golden Hundred list. Forbes estimated the fortunes of around 300 Russian businessmen and chose the wealthiest 200. At 96, the number of dollar billionaires has fallen by five in the past year. The combined wealth of the 200 entrepreneurs came to $446.3 billion in 2012 (down from $498.6 billion in 2011).

The 2012 rating saw a change in leaders: Vladimir Lisin, who came top of the list the past two years has given way to Alisher Usmanov, the founder of Metalloinvest, General Director of Gasprominvestholding, and major shareholder in Facebook, whose fortune is estimated at $18.1 billion.
