Presentation of new Yo-mobiles was held on September 30 on Vasilyevsky Island in St. Petersburg.
Three models were presented: crossover, minivan and van.
Designers said that these cars can run not only on gasoline but also on natural gas.
Yo-mobiles are also equipped with mini electrical power stations, so it can run without fuel.
Maximum car speed is up to 120 kph (about 75 mph). Developers promise that all models will go into mass production.
The plant near St. Petersburg has not yet been built. But about 20,000 cars are planned to be produced in 2014.
The car will cost between 350,000 and 450,000 rubles (about $10,000 - $15,000)
To promote the idea of an environmentally safe car, Yo-mobile is organizing a special tour to 23 Russian cities. The first visit was to St. Petersburg.
