Siberian prosecutors opened an inquiry on Thursday into surgery videos that local doctors recorded and posted on the Internet, a prosecutor's spokesman said.
Doctors at a hospital in the city of Barnaul in the Altai Territory, southern Siberia, posted the video calling it “Daily routine of the Town Hospital No.1” and accompanied it with hard beat music.
Some Barnaul residents recognized their relatives in the ten-minute video, which showed in detail the way the operations are performed.
“Prosecutors are looking into the facts,” the spokesman said.
Thousands of people saw the video online before the author removed it.
