The former California governor is starring in a rights package which will bring the Terminator back to cinemas.
Justin Lin, helmsman of the Fast and Furious, is tipped to direct.
The rights to Terminator are currently owned by a Santa Barbara-based hedge fund, Pacificor, which bought them for $29.5 million in a bankruptcy auction from Halcyon, the company that made the fourth installment in the Terminator series, 2009’s Terminator Salvation.
Universal, Sony, Lionsgate, and CBS Films are currently looking at the package.
