The representative said that Boeing would continue doing business in Russia while assessing any possible effects on the company's business as a result of the sanctions.

WASHINGTON, October 20 (RIA Novosti) – US aircraft company Boeing is not feeling the impact of sanctions against Russia and is operating as usual in the country, an official Boeing representative told RIA Novosti on Monday.

The representative said that at the moment, following several months of sanctions, Boeing has not experienced any trouble with its operations and has not felt the consequences of the West's restrictive measures.

Speaking of the company's plans, the representative said Boeing would continue to conduct business in Russia constantly monitoring the situation and to assess any possible effects on the company's business as a result of the sanctions.

In Russia, Boeing is in cooperation with titanium producer VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation which provides the aircraft giant with titanium products to meet the company's construction needs. The companies have signed a contract to cooperate up until 2022.

Several rounds of sanctions against Russia have been introduced by western countries over Russia's alleged involvement in the Ukrainian crisis, which Moscow has repeatedly denied. The sanctions target certain individuals, as well as banks, energy and defense companies and restrict cooperation with them.
