Daesh Threats to Tajikistan: Bullying Tactics or Real Danger?
DUSHANBE (Sputnik) — The Tajik Civil Aviation Department under the Transport Ministry said on Friday it had no issues with Russian airline companies and would continue cooperation with the country.

"Tajik aviation authorities will continue to cooperate with the Russian aviation authorities," the statement read.

On Thursday, a Russian Transport Ministry official said that Russia reserves the right to halt air traffic between Tajikistan as of November 8 to defend the rights of national carriers if Dushanbe maintains its policy toward Moscow's new international airport Zhukovsky.

Tajik authorities said that the Zhukovsky-Dushanbe-Zhukovsky was a new destination and therefore its exploitation must be negotiated by the respective bodies before any operating permits could be issued.
