Russian fans of British rock band Radiohead faced disappointment on Monday after a customs problem stopped them picking up copies of the group's free newspaper, The Universal Sigh, that accompanies their new album.

Radiohead were dishing out the newspapers to tie up with the worldwide release of their new album, The King of Limbs.

Dozens of fans turned up for a copy at a central Moscow location only to go home empty-handed after a problem at Russian customs prevented the newspapers from being delivered on time.

"The fans will get them on Wednesday, hopefully," organizer Maxim Blinkin told RIA Novosti.

Many of the fans were said to have travelled hundreds of kilometers, despite earlier warnings that the free paper might not be available.
