Two people were killed and one injured after two cars collided on a highway in Russia's Tomsk Region, in western Siberia, local traffic police said on Friday.
A 24-year-old female driver, who received driver's license only five months ago, lost control of her Mitsubishi Lancer car, swerved into oncoming lane and collided with a Nissan Mistral car.
The woman was badly injured and hospitalized, while two of her passengers died at the scene of the accident. The driver of the Nissan and his passengers emerged unhurt from the crash.
