KIEV, September 12 (RIA Novosti) - Former Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister Nikolai Tomenko said the new government would include about half of the ministers from Yulia Timoshenko's cabinet.
Tomenko does not intend to join the new government, the Novosti-Ukraine agency said.
He also said that there were no threats of repression against the Timoshenko team following the changes in Ukraine after the Orange Revolution.
Tomenko expressed concern about the position of former Ukrainian president Leonid Kuchma, who had backed Viktor Yushchenko's decision to dismiss the government.
He added that Kuchma's political views were a matter of the past. "If today Kuchma is happy that the government was dismissed and is ready to consult the new government and president, this causes me deep concern."
