MOSCOW, April 21 (RIA Novosti) - Turkey would like to get Russian aircraft as part of Russia's debt settlement, Russian Economic Development and Trade Minister German Gref told the cabinet at a sitting.

"Yesterday I returned from Turkey. It spoke of 330 million dollars to be repaid under the schedule within more than ten years", Gref said.

"The Turkish side is interested in our helicopters and Be-200 planes for fire fighting", he said.

The ministerial press service said recently that, at the meeting with Turkish Minister of State Kursad Tuzmen, Gref put forward a proposal to pay the Russian 300 million dollar-debt in Russian-made helicopters and Be-10 planes.

The ministerial official communique says that at the meeting they also spoke of reinvigorating Russian-Turkish cooperation. Particularly, the goal was set to increase bilateral trade turnover to 20 billion dollars' worth by 2007.

On eve of the meeting, the ministers had signed the bilateral Russian-Turkish protocol on Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization.
