WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – The United States and Italy have reaffirmed their commitment to the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) free trade deal, US President Barack Obama stated in a press conference on Tuesday after a meeting with Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi.
"We both reaffirmed our strong support for negotiations around the Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, which can support jobs and exports, and innovation and growth on both sides of the Atlantic," Obama said.
