SEOUL, October 15 (RIA Novosti) – Representatives of five nations involved in the long-stalled talks on North Korea’s denuclearization are expected meet in Seoul this week, while Pyongyang, the sixth member, was “not invited,” the Yonhap news agency reported on Tuesday.

The Six-Party Talks to denuclearize North Korea in exchange for aid involved the United States, China, Russia, Japan and two Koreas and have been stalled since late 2008.

The five members are to meet on the sidelines of a two-day international cyberspace conference starting on Thursday in Seoul, the agency said citing South Korean officials.

"No specific issues will be discussed at the (five-nation) gathering; it was only organized to try out a meeting of the key nations involved in the Northeast Asia peace initiative," a government source said.
