Nearly Nine in 10 Trump Supporters Believe US Media Skews Facts - Poll

Some 88 percent of US voters who support Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said they believe mainstream media fact-checkers play favorites during televised debates, according to a Rasmussen Reports poll on Friday.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — In contrast, 59 percent of Clinton supporters trust the media fact checkers as neutral observers, according to a press release explaining the poll.

"These findings are no surprise given that voters think it's far more likely reporters will try to help Clinton than Trump this election season," the release said, citing results of earlier Rasmussen surveys.

Trump has failed to win the backing of a single major US newspaper.
