The shooter has probably left the area.
Police and emergency services have been dispatched to the area of the incident. Several people were injured and have been hospitalized, according to IllinoisHomepage local community website. Social media users said up to nine people were wounded but law enforcement is yet to confirm the figure. The total number of casualties has not been officially stated.
