KHL top scorer Alexander Radulov has damaged a knee ligament, his team CSKA Moscow said Saturday.

MOSCOW, November 3 (RIA Novosti) - KHL top scorer Alexander Radulov has damaged a knee ligament, his team CSKA Moscow said Saturday.

The ex-Nashville Predators forward has scored 31 points in 23 games for CSKA this season, and was hurt during a 6-2 win over Amur Khabarovsk on Friday.

“Alexander Radulov received a serious injury in the match,” CSKA said in a website statement. “After a diagnostic examination, it was revealed that the forward has a damaged lateral knee ligament and has damage to the meniscus.”

He also hurt his wrist but without damaging the bone, CSKA said.

The team said it was not yet clear how much of the season Radulov would miss.

The Amur game was CSKA's last before a two-week KHL break.
