Hey Gorgeous! Moscow Crowned as One of Ten Most Attractive Cities in the World
It’s no secret that the Russian capital is a beautiful city. Now, it is proven once more as Moscow joins the top ten of the world’s best travel destinations, according to "The Best of Travel - 2017" guidebook by Lonely Planet publisher, which will be released in November.
Moscow was included in the top 10 most attractive cities, along with Los Angeles, Lisbon, Bordeaux and Seoul, the city mayor's website reported.
According to the travel authority which compiled the rating, the current construction of new metro lines will make it more comfortable to move around the city. In addition, as the new airport Zhukovsky will soon open, the number of convenient flights to the Russian capital will increase.
In 2017, the existing range of the city's parks and forests will be complemented by another interesting site — the Zaryadye Park. The park promises to intrigue and impress guests with an ice cave, a "floating" bridge and a "time machine," allowing visitors to travel to several different eras in time.
As the metropolis is preparing to host the 2018 FIFA World Cup, more than 800 hotels and 200 hostels in the city have already been certified tourist ready, the statement on the mayor's website said.
