Syrian Terrorist Organization Added to List of Groups Outlawed in Russia

Syrian Islamist group Ajr Allah Subhanu wa Ta’ala Sham was added to the list of organizations outlawed in Russia, according to Russia’s Federal Security Service's (FSB) website.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Syrian Islamist group Ajr Allah Subhanu wa Ta’ala Sham was included on the list of organizations outlawed in Russia, the updated version of which was published on Russia’s Federal Security Service's (FSB) website Friday.

The decision to ban the group was made by a Moscow court on December 28, 2015, and entered into force on April 5, according to the FSB.

The updated list of banned groups includes 25 organizations.
