WikiLeaks reveals the DNC’s bad behavior, but there are some that don’t want to talk about that, instead focusing on a made-up boogeyman.

Although nothing was said between them, the woman was sure that the man was cheating on her. Over time, he had stopped paying as much attention to her as he had when they first were together and even more worrisome, he had started to act strange whenever he was around his phone. Hiding the phone when she was around and even going so far as to enable a password, so that only he could see what was there. One day, the woman was able to learn the code and while he was in the shower, she was able to confirm her suspicions. The man was cheating on her. Eventually, she divorced him and the judge gave her a large part of the assets they had accumulated, based on her discovery that the man had been cheating on her, and because the man had given her a STD from the affair he had been having with another lover. That’s right. Although the woman didn’t have permission from the man to access her phone, her life was directly affected by the actions of that man, and she had a right to know what sort of shenanigans he had been up to, especially when it concerned her own personal health.

Now, if you have been paying attention to news events in the month of October, one of the major themes continues to be that Russia is influencing the Presidential elections in the United States. Recently, Esquire ran a story called – “How Russia Pulled Off the Biggest Election Hack in U.S. History”. In that article, it was explained that – “The Russian campaign burst into public view only this past June, when The Washington Post reported that "Russian government hackers" had penetrated the servers of the Democratic National Committee.” Of course, no proof was or has been offered, at least not publically, and even the original story was suspect.

Consider, for instance, that at least according to the original WaPo article, the DNC had been hacked, and supposedly by a foreign organization. Now, ask yourself, what should they have done? Called the FBI? Aren’t they the ones that are supposed to deal with counter-intelligence? Maybe the CIA? Or NSA? Or at least someone in a government law enforcement agency? But, according to that article, what did they do? They hired a private company. And what did the private company go on record as saying? That only files on Trump had been stolen and – “that no financial, donor or personal information appears to have been accessed or taken, suggesting that the breach was traditional espionage, not the work of criminal hackers.” That’s right. Nothing to see here folks. Your information is safe, everything is fine. Continue donating to the party! And remember, it was the Russians!

In fact, that has been a central theme in all of the Democratic talking points. Going back to the Esquire article, they wrote – “their first victim in July, ….was Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the DNC chair, whose private emails were published by WikiLeaks in the days leading up to the Democratic convention.” And what great sin was Debbie accused of? What would be so horrible that she would be quickly forced to exit stage left, literally in the dead of the night and on the eve of the party convention?

The Guardian wrote – “leaked emails revealed … officials actively favoring Hillary Clinton during the presidential primary and plotting against Clinton’s rival, Bernie Sanders.” That’s right. The leadership of the DNC conspired to actively strip the party’s base of their right to choose the candidate that they wanted. Putting it another way, the DNC convention was a sham.

The chosen one was and had always been Hillary Clinton. The people never had a choice. Was Russia somehow to blame for this?

Over the summer, the whisper has grown into a roar. A vote for anyone other than Hillary was a vote for Putin. And somehow, anything that was once a dirty deed done in a backroom was now Russia’s fault. Hillary Clinton – “describing Sanders supporters as children of the Great Recession who” are living in their parents' basement.”? The FSB did it. Hillary announcing that she “has two positions on any given issue, both a public and a private position”, because you know, you tell the public what they want to hear and then you tell the banks what they want to hear. Some would call it being two-faced, but others would just say – “Blame it on the Russians”. And all of the other recent revelations on WikiLeaks? KGB lies.

As we move towards the end of the 2016 election cycle, things are beginning to heat up and turn even more bizarre. Maybe this is the first time that another nation state has ever had such an influence on the presidential elections in America. Maybe not. That has yet to be proven. However, it could also be said that if there was not any bad behavior to begin with, then there wouldn’t be anything to talk about. So who is really to blame here? A Chinese saying notes – “A secret behind closed doors is an open scandal in heaven.”

So, what do you think dear listeners – “Should the messenger be blamed?”
