16:20 GMT 21.10.2016 (Updated: 11:20 GMT 06.08.2022) Turkish Defense Minister Fikri Isik said Friday that the United States had expressed readiness to join Turkey in efforts to liberate Syria's Raqqa from Daesh terrorists.
ANKARA (Sputnik) — Isik held talks with US Defense Secretary Ashton Carter in Ankara earlier on Friday.
The Turkish minister also said in an interview with Turkey's state-run TRT television that Turkey will not be able alone to accommodate all refugees from Iraqi city of Mosul after its liberation from terrorists.
