The Turkish Parliament extended the mandate allowing use of the country's military abroad for 13 months.

ANKARA (Sputnik) — The Turkish Parliament on Saturday by a wide margin extended the mandate allowing use of the country's military abroad for 13 months.

The issue was on the agenda of the first convention of the autumn parliament session.

Initially, the mandate was authorized in October 2014 and was extended for a year on September 3, 2015.
