The commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s special forces division, General Hassan Karami, has announced the establishment of a women's special forces battalion in Iran.

According to the commander of the special forces, General Hassan Karami, the battalion is a volunteer unit that receives special military training and ensures that the tasks are performed on time.

Women who are interested in serving in the battalion, can apply at any branch of Iran's voluntary police.
