Russia Always Respects Commitments on Gas Supplies to Europe - Putin

Vladimir Putin said that Russia has not been responsible for interruptions of natural gas supplies to Europe for several decades.

CHELYABINSK (Russia) (Sputnik) – Russia has not been responsible for interruptions of natural gas supplies to Europe for several decades, President Vladimir Putin said Monday.

"For decades the Soviet Union, and now Russia have been supplying large quantities of [natural] gas to Europe. And there have been, practically, no instances where Moscow failed in deliveries," Putin said at a meeting with workers of a plant producing pipe connectors.
