MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The airstrike was carried out in the Pacher Agam district of the Nangarhar province where Daesh terrorists staged an attack several days ago having set a number of houses on fire, Khaama Press reported.
It is unclear whether the airstrike was carried out by US or Afghan air forces.

Local authorities said that no civilians suffered from the airstrike.
Afghanistan is in a state of political and social turmoil, with government forces fighting the continuing Taliban insurgency, while other extremist groups, such as the Daesh, outlawed in many countries including the United States and Russia, have also expanded their activities both in the country and in neighboring states.
