US Government Sued for Censorship; Obama Speaks Out on Gaza Conflict

Robert Fantina, journalist and Palestine activist, joins us to discuss the Middle East. Leaders of the Axis of Resistance movement in the Middle East have met to discuss their future actions regarding the Israel-Gaza conflict. Robert Fantina says that the resistance movement comprises several organizations, and losses by those organizations will only increase its membership. Also, he says that the two-state solution has always been the plan, and the US and Israel have blocked it.

Mark Sleboda, Moscow-based international relations security analyst, joins us to discuss Ukraine. Russia's new anti-aircraft system has downed 24 Ukrainian jets in five days. Mark Sleboda says that a new hypersonic air-to-air missile with a range of 400 kilometers gives Russia air superiority far into Ukrainian airspace. This has cost Ukraine several aircraft that were gifted from Eastern European nations.

Joe Lauria, editor-in-chief at Consortium News and Bruce Afran, Consortium News's attorney, join us to discuss the lawsuit against the US government. Consortiumnews.com, a news website, has filed suit against the US government and a censorship organization for violating its First Amendment rights.

Dr. David Oualaalou, international geopolitical consultant, veteran, and author of many books, including "The Dynamics of Russia's Geopolitics: Remaking the Global Order," international security analyst, and host of the "Geopolitics in Conflict" Show on YT, joins us to US foreign policy. Joe Biden has revived the "axis of evil" ploy as he links Hamas with Russia, Iran, and North Korea. Dr Oualaalou says that the president's speech was absurd. Also, President Biden still lives in the unipolar past, and much of his rhetoric is about securing funding from Congress. Additionally, he believes that the Biden administration wants to prevent infrastructure projects between Iran, China, and Iran.

Dr. Nicolai Petro, Professor of Political Science at the University of Rhode Island, joins us to discuss international peace proposals. Dr. Petro tells us that late Sergei Sivokho was a great Ukrainian peace activist who worked for peace and believed the nation could reconcile its differences. Additionally, he explains that some issues agreed upon before the Ukraine conflict demonstrate the potential for a peaceful reconciliation between the warring sides.

Dr. Radhika Desai, author and professor in the Department of Political Studies and Director of the Geopolitical Economy Research Group at the University of Manitoba in Canada, joins us to discuss censorship. The Canadian press has attacked Dr. Radhika Desai for visiting Russia and participating in an international event. Dr. Desai says that we claim free speech and academic freedom, but the spectrum of debate has been massively narrowing. She says that the authorities authorize think tanks to attack those who take positions in opposition to the mainstream narrative.

George Koo, journalist, social activist, and international business consultant, joins us to discuss Asia. Chinese President Xi Jinping will be meeting with the Governor of California in a sign that President Biden may be getting pushed aside as an international negotiator. George says that this was a brilliantly timed trip to China. Newsome worked with China when he was the mayor of San Francisco. He is also positioning himself to make a positive impact on US-China relations.

Maru Mora-Villapando, community organizer, political analyst, and consultant, joins us to discuss Venezuela. Venezuela is celebrating the relaxation of sanctions against its oil industry, and several nations are coming together to fight against the sanctions against it. Maru argues that this shows that the people in the region have been able to elect leaders that reflect their opinions. Also, she argues that the President of Mexico is brave in his actions, but internally, he struggles to deal with migration issues.
