Head of Iran Railways Mohsen Pour Seyed Aghaei resigned after the train crash in the north of Iran killed 45 people.

Iranian Judiciary Chief Orders Probe Into Deadly Train Collision
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to Tasnim news agency, Aqhaei accepted his resignation on Saturday night.

Meanwhile, Iranian lawmakers are reportedly going to remove Minister of Road and Urban Development Abbas Akhoundi due to his weak performance, which led to catastrophe.

A passenger train from Tehran to Iranian city of Mashhad was hit by another train during a stop at a station on Friday. The incident claimed lives of 45 people.
