MOSCOW, October 23 (RIA Novosti) - Foreign Minister of Nepal Ramesh Nath Pandey is arriving in Moscow today on a four-day working visit, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement Sunday.

This will be the first visit by the head of the Nepalese foreign ministry to Russia since 1991, the document said.

"During the negotiations, the Russian side intends to analyze the entire range of bilateral relations, including cooperation in the political, trade and economic, military and technical, educational, cultural and other spheres," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

"This is especially important because next year Russia and Nepal will celebrate 50 years since they established diplomatic relations," the document said.

The parties also intend to discuss the struggle against international and local terrorism, the United Nations' stronger role in solving international and regional problems, ensuring strategic stability and international security, the situation in the Middle East, and also situation in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Both parties will also focus on the situation in South Asia, in particular, on efforts to establish a political dialog between India and Pakistan. During the negotiations, Russia will express its support for Nepal's efforts to end the internal conflict in the country, the statement said.

Trade and economic talks will focus on the possibilities of private entrepreneurs and some regions.
